Hiring Sr. QA Analyst, Rochester NY / Schenectady, NY – Fulltime Position with Syntel
Hello,
Position: Sr. QA Analyst
Location: Rochester NY / Schenectady, NY
Type: Fulltime with Syntel (Person would be based out of our HealthCare client’s locations à Rochester NY / Schenectady, NY. We have a long term engagement with the client, at least 1-2 years to start up with).
Salary: DOE + Benefits
Total # of Positions: 1
Start Date: ASAP (once confirmed we would like the candidate to join within 1 Week’s time)
Benefits – Relocation (One way flight tickets, 14 days hotel accommodation, 7 days car rental & Movers), Medical, Dental, Vision, Long Term & Short Term Disability Insurance, 401K, Basic Life / AD&D, Flexible Spending Accounts, MTO Policy, Bereavement, Family and Medical Leave Act, etc.
Required Skills:
§ Bachelor’s degree required
§ Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
o Ability to effectively use MS Office products including PowerPoint
o Ability to lead and participate in JAD session related to test planning
§ 6-8 years of Functional QA testing (including SIT and UAT) from an implementation or upgrade perspective within the healthcare market specific to TriZetto Core products and associated functional areas
o Membership/ Billing
o Claims
o Customer Service
o Provider/Contracting
§ Hands on experience creating small test plans, writing, and executing large volumes of test cases
§ Experience with leveraging and deploying testing tools like Quality Center and Quick Test Pro (9.5 or higher)
§ Advanced Knowledge with SQL for querying Sybase and Oracle
§ Provide technical guidance, mentorship and assist the assigned team members in their day to day QA tasks.
§ Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
§ If the person has some experience with FACETS and / or any of the HealthCare Product testing it would be a big plus!

Type: Fulltime with Syntel (Person would be based out of our HealthCare client à Trizetto’s office in Greenwood Village CO. We have a long term engagement with the client, at least 1-2 years to start up with).

Please Note that this position requires travel whenever the client manager asks for it. The travel expenses would be billable to Syntel but the person should be flexible on the Travel part.
